Meeting your goals?

We are a little over 6 weeks into the new year. How are those new years resolutions coming? Struggling to keep up with your goals?

We have a tendency to make goals that are sometimes too ambitious and that’s alright. There’s nothing wrong with that. Sometimes we feel as though we may have bit off a little more than we can chew. It may be time to look at those resolutions and see if we can break it down into smaller goals instead of one big one.

It may be helpful to start by rethinking those resolutions and creating them into SMART goals. SMART is an acronym for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely. By creating goals that cover all aspects of the acronym, you’ll achieve more tangible results.

It is important to make goals that are both big and small. Sometimes those big goals take multiple smaller goals to achieve. Think of those as benchmarks to help keep you on track.

We are at the point now where some have lost sight of their resolutions. That’s okay! There is no better time to take a step back and make new ones.
